**SPECIAL NOTICE**
Feb. 18 - All members are invited to a special presentation at Vancouver's Christ Church Cathedral entitled "Jane Austen and the Anglican Year." There is no charge for this event and guests are welcome. Members meet at the cathedral at 10:15 a.m., at 690 Burrard, the corner of Burrard and Georgia Streets, for a private tour with Ian Birtwell which begins at 10:30. Following the tour there will be a talk at 11:30 by Jenny Birtwell on Anglican Church traditions and the liturgical year. At noon everyone is invited to enjoy our famous pot luck lunch in the Park Room of the cathedral. Christ Church held its first service in 1889. The building underwent extensive restoration and re-opened in 2004. Parking is close by at Park Place or Pacific Centre and public transportation will take you conveniently close to Christ Church.
