March 20 - "The Good Marriage in Jane Austen's Novels" presented by Ronald W. Richardson, former Clinical Director of the North Shore Counselling Centre. Mr. Richardson is a certified marriage counsellor and family therapist, pastoral counsellor, and the author of many books on family systems theory. In his book "Becoming Your Best", he relies on his 30 years of clinical experience and many selections from Jane Austen's novels, to illustrate how good people make for good relationships. April 17 - Jane Austen Day 2010. Come to this morning and afternoon program and enjoy a catered lunch. Speaker information, price and menu choices and contact information will be announced at the March 20 meeting and on this website soon. In order to attend, you must prepay and pre-select your meal. Payment and meal selection will be accepted starting at the March 20 meeting. The fee must be received by April 8 to reserve a space which is limited. May 15 and June 12 have been chosen as dates for the next meetings to take us through until summer. The programs for each of these dates will be announced soon. We will be on summer hiatus through July and August and meetings will resume in September. |
